At a press conference held at Camp Crame, Philippines on Thursday, Chief of PNP, Dir. Gen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa showed up Wilford Palma, one of the 2 suspects that were arrested for Gun smuggling, that later revealed that they are selling some of the guns and gun parts to some clients that are said to be planning an assassination plot against Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.

The said smuggled gun parts are worth 4.5 Million pesos, and were shipped from the United States to Bacolod Philippines, through some legit cargo forwarders and they are just using fake names and false documents.

According to Palma, he just heard from his boss, Bryan Taala, who's currently at a hospital and under police custody, that there are clients who are ordering the gun parts to assemble guns that are going to be used to kill President Duterte.

The 2 suspects are both from Bacolod, Philippines and now
facing charges for the violation of the Republic Act. 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. Meanwhile, investigations are still on going to identify the clients that are buying the gun parts.
